Back To The Future - Theatrical Production Tickets
Tennessee Performing Arts Center - Andrew Jackson Hall | Nashville, Tennessee

Great Scott! The Tony-nominated show taken from the 1985 hit film is ready to take you on a journey in a DeLorean back in time. Back To The Future - Theatrical Production will be at Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This musical has been one of the darlings on Broadway through its first few seasons. You could say that it has a lot to do with the fact that the movie it's based on is still super popular. However, on many occasions, that can be a two-edged sword. The production crew has done a wonderful job with the set design and handing the characters funny dialogues that mimic those in the movie but allow the story to have a life of its own.
Of course, it doesn't hurt when you have a killer soundtrack. The play has been so popular that it's going on tour while staying on Broadway. If you're a fan of the classic movie, then this is an event that you're going to relish from start to finish. Set in two iconic decades of the 20th century, a nostalgic time for the current generation, The stage adaptation, Back To The Future, shares the same narrative from the original 1985 film and was also conceptualized from scratch by the previous picture's creators, Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale. The high-spirited and visually stunning show tells the story of Marty McFly, a fearless boy who is sent back in time.
The show is set in motion as our main character lives a normal day in a young adult's life, participating in clubs (mainly in their music group) and spending time with his significant other, while still quite inquisitive of the things he finds. His uncontrollable interest ends up as Marty's very own burden, as upon making contact with Doc Brown one night, the doctor announces that his genius has enabled him to make the time machine (which in truth, is the DeLorean) function. An unusual hazard that happens during their meeting causes Marty McFly to accidentally turn on the DeLorean, surprising Marty and carrying him back in time to 1955. Initially in awe of what just happened to him, Marty McFly soon realizes that to correct his accident and secure his future, he should also redirect history, and the younger versions of the people he meets, back to the right track.
Founded on elements from the movie with the same title, each scene location of the musical acts as a callback to the set designs from the previous movie, including the McFly's house, Hill Valley High School, Doc's lab, and many locales in the Hill Valley neighborhood. Both the set and clothing design also accurately depict the two different time periods. The musical's transfer to the theater stage allowed it to showcase one of the leading franchises that has been produced, while applying tweaks and improvements only feasible in a stage adaptation.
Whilst Back To The Future The Musical brings us on a vivid journey back to the 50s and 80s, the theater for this play is everything but dated. With magnificent, complete services and topnotch designs that are the same level of visual design as the musical itself, Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville is proud to host the musical from West End on Thursday 19th March 2026. Seats to the approaching musical are presently purchasable by means of our ticketing partner which can be accessed by using the links that are above.
