Alexander Hamilton is most known for being the first Secretary of the Treasury in the United States and wrote the Federalist Papers. He unfortunately died from a gunshot wound he sustained in a duel with the U.S. Vice President, Aaron Burr. What a time to be alive then, aye?!
The interesting and dramatic historic account is what inspired Lin-Manuel Miranda to create this musical masterpiece. From its premiere in 2015, Hamilton has won several awards.
